The location of a Workbench license file depends on the type of license you use.

For static Workbench licenses, look in the folder called licenses within the installation area of your QIAGEN CLC Workbench. The default installation areas are as follows:

(On Windows)

C:\Program Files\CLC Genomics Workbench XX\licenses\

(On Linux)

/opt/CLC Genomics Workbench XX/licenses/

(On Mac)

/Applications/CLC Genomics Workbench XX/licenses/


(XX to be substituted with version number.)

For network licenses, look in the folder called licenses within the installation area of your CLC Network License Manager / License Server software.
